Research in Computer Architecture and Systems
The research in the field of computer architecture spans an extensive range of topics from microarchitecture to network, such as VLSI architecture to address and resolve issues at the CPU, memory systems; network architecture to address and resolve issues at the internet level and beyond.
The prerequisite to this field of research are familiarity with computer hardware, OS and strong mathematical modeling and analysis skills.
N. Park: Ph.D. from Texas A&M and his current research agenda is on blockchain architecture and systems with emphases on performance and dependability. He is teaching architecutre and algorithms.
